#BaconDay

Everything is better with bacon, so someone said once. And our research shows very little to dispute this assertion.

The Canada and The United States make bacon from the pork belly. Rest of countries all over the world use the side and back cuts of pork. The meat is cured in either a salt pack or in a salt brine. It is then either dried, smoked, or boiled.

Its considered as a very popular and famous food in the USA. In 2020, over 50% of the U.S. population told that they used a pound or more bacon that year. You can also find there are many items scented or flavored with bacon, including soap, popcorn, candles, air fresheners, and much more. While these uses fit right into the day, we suggest cooking with bacon.

Bacon is not just for the breakfast anymore, either. Around the whole world it improves everything from beverages to dessert. Some cocktails such as the Caesar and Bloody Mary add bacon to the pickles olives, and other assorted ingredients. Bacon improves the flavor of many soaps, appetizers, and sandwiches. Incorporate bacon into salads as a topping or mix it into the dressing. For dessert, bacon pairs well with mable ice cream or maple frosting. Thanks to bacon’s smoky flavor, Salty it compliments sweet quite well. The possibilities of Bacon are endless.

HOW TO OBSERVE BACON DAY

The founders of this special Bacon Day encourage us all to eat a different variety of bacon while watching movies with bacon in the title or Kevin Bacon movies. Other suggested traditions such as the bacon toasts and kissing under the pork fat mistletoe are mentioned as well.
