Lahore is a city of the Pakistan. And Pakistan is a country of the Continent of the Asia. The culture of Lahore city is a manifestation of the lifestyle, literature, festivals, language, music, politics, cuisine and socio-economic conditions of the people. The heart of the Lahore that contains the heart of the Lahore is the North-west of the Lahore– and Lahore’s original cultural property in the form of mosques, tombs, hotels, residential buildings, forts, gateways, palaces, alleyways and open squares. These when coupled with the traditional cultural activities (gatherings) and social relationships, enhance the character of the Walled City with its bazaars and individual buildings. Old Lahore is the dense, tottering, bazaar-city of Kipling’s stories, and some of his titles, like The Gate of a Hundred Sorrows, could serve as name plaques every few steps. Old Lahore is feeble, anarchic, energetic, exuberant, crowded and aromatic; however, during the partition of the British India Lahore lost much of its grandeur when most of it was burnt down when partition was taking place.
The Lahorians true life is visible everywhere when one walks through its narrow winding alleys. The traditional breakfast of the “Lahories” In early morning, the most famous dish of the Lahories is “Halwa and Poori” that is seen being made by the corner of the street (shops).  people really enjoy “Poori” that is like a thin paper “Poori” made of flour (grinded wheat)  and fried in the boiling hot oil with a (Bhaaji) that is a very special dish and considered as the best cuisine of the Lahore. (Bhaaji) is a dish made of boiled grams and potatoes with onion and pickle, followed by “Halwa” a sweet dish made of sooji(like a flour) ,and in which mixed sugar and ghee. After this rather heavy feast, there is another traditional drink of the Lahories that is called “Lassi” and Lahoris never forget to drink a glass of “Lassi” made from sugar, yogurt, and water in one gulp.
The life inside the Walled City of Lahore is lively and fascinating and people from abroad must visits the Lahore for enjoying because there are a lot of historical places in the Lahore city like (Minar-e-Pakistan, Badshahi Mosque, The tomb of famous East poet Illama Iqba, Shahi-Qilla, shrine of Datta Ali Alhajveri). The marriages are celebrated in very traditional Punjabi way. From all parts of the Lahore and even advanced and local area people’s are being attracted by the festival of kite flying or Basant in the spring season and attracts rich and poor from all areas of Lahore to the Walled City. The life inside the most Rushy area Heera Mandi or the red-light area being the part of the Walled City is very different from the rest of the Walled City of Lahore. One can see the dancing girls standing in the jharokas of the brothels and music being played especially after late evening. There are a lot of more interesting Cultures and traditions of Lahore that can’t be expressed without seeing with real eyes.
