Defination of Culture:

the existence of a variety of  ethnics or cultural  groups within a society.

Quality of different or diverse cultures is called cultural diversity.

Some times "cultural diversity" is also  used to mean the variety of human cultures or or societies in a specific region.

before going in detail about Cultural diversity in Pakistan its very important to know a little bit about Pakistan. Pakistan is a country of over 165 million people with diverse social, ethnic, linguistic and cultural circumstances  Pakistan's 95% population is Muslim and Maslakvise (75% Sunni Muslims and 20% Shia Muslims). Rest of the 5% are  Christians that is the biggest religious minority who are around 3% of the total population.

Thanks to its historical, geographical and ethnic diversity, Culture of  Pakistan  is a melting pot of Persian, Indian , Central Asian, Afghan, South Asian and Western Asian influences. In Pakistan There are over 15 major ethnic groups , which differ in physical features, Customs, historical bloodlines, music, food   customs and dresses. Some of these include Punjabis, Sindees, Balochees, Pashtuns, Kashmiris, Hazaras, Makranis and Baltis, coming from regions as close to home as the Indus Valley or as far as Africa or Tibet.The religious influence of Islam has also strongly shaped Pakistani culture since it first came to the region in AD 700.
